The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for addressing legal issues pertaining to or arising out of the activities of Princeton University.  All University matters requiring legal advice, action or representation should be referred to the OGC. Below is a list of the main areas of practice handled by this office. The OGC does not and cannot provide legal advice to individual faculty, staff or students related to personal legal matters outside the scope of University business.
