The Office of the General Counsel advises on matters relating to the University’s intellectual property rights and policies, including copyright, patents and trademarks. Attorneys draft and negotiate contracts and licenses impacting University intellectual property rights and provide advice and counsel on infringement, fair use, digitization, publishing, internet and privacy issues, licensing and acquisition of third-party content and technology transfer.
